About Us
The Intercare Group was founded in 2000 by Drs Hendrik Hanekom and George Veliotes with the purpose of making people feel better. The first medical and dental centre was opened in 2002 in Lynnwood, Pretoria and since then the organisation has grown immensely. Currently, there are 24 multidisciplinary medical and dental centres, four-day hospitals, four sub-acute and rehabilitation hospitals and one specialised hospital across South Africa.
