If you’re applying for a job in South Africa’s public sector, the Z83 application form is a non-negotiable part of your submission. This government-mandated form helps standardise the application process and ensures recruiters can fairly assess candidates.

Before filling out the form

Before filling any field on the form make sure to go through the whole form and find out the requirements needed to complete the form. Make sure your reference number matches the position of the job you are applying for. Consequently, If you fill in a wrong reference number or job position, your application will be void.

  • Reference number: Copy exactly from the job advert.
  • Position: Write the full post title.

Section B (Personal information)

Section C (Communication Section)
