How to apply for a place at Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) 2023.

Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) is a college found in the province of Gauteng. The college was established in 2003 as mandated by the government. The college is made up of eight campuses, i.e., Ellis Park, Parktown, Alexandra, Riverlea, Langlaagte, Crown Mines, Smit Street, and Troyville. The head office of the college is based in Parktown. Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) has these national accredited programmes on offer i.e., National Technical Education (NATED) and National Certificate (Vocational) NC(V). These programmes are of national standard and quality assured by the Council for Quality Assurance in General. Besides the above programmes the college also has some skills programmes on offer in collaboration with SETA (Sector Education and Training Authority). The college has these courses in its catalogue Engineering Studies, Business Studies, and Humanities.

How to apply

There are two processes you must complete when applying for a place at Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC):

You will be asked if you have a student number since you are a new applicant click no. more questions will be asked the answers are no.

After answering the first questions click next then you are led to a new page where you have to fill in your biographical details. Fill in all the information required truthfully.

There is a point where you will be asked to upload the required documents, so make sure you have scanned all your documents and have them with you.

Click next when done.

Another page appears where you have to fill some information in again. Fill in all the information required on all tabs until you are done.

2. Complete a Pre- Registration Placement Screening Assessment here

The second stage involves completing a placement screening test. This test is there to help you get a course that is right for you and also good at.

The placement test is compulsory, do not dread it, it’s there to help the applicant. Complete

Make sure you complete all the questions even if you do not know the answers. When done click the “Finish” button.

3. Make sure you have the following documents with you before the application process:

Proof of residency

ID document of next of king or guardian

Study Permit for all foreign students

Letter from Employer for all part-time students who are at work.
